Sustainability and ESG principles have become essential elements of modern business strategies. Organizations are increasingly expected to balance economic performance with environmental responsibility, social commitment, and ethical governance.
This course provides a practical overview of the key concepts of sustainability and ESG, helping participants understand how organizations can contribute to sustainable development through responsible business practices. Through real-life examples and good practices, learners will gain a clear understanding of the main environmental, social, and governance challenges facing organizations today.
Qualifications
Participants in this training activity will receive a certificate for the "Good Practices in Sustainability" course upon completion. This qualification is issued by Bureau Veritas Business School.

What will you achieve through the course?
To acquire, through a practical and pedagogical context of good practices, the basic concepts that shape the framework of sustainability in the business field, directly addressing the key aspects linked to ESG or ESG criteria (environmental, social and governance). The skills acquired after completing this training focus on:
- Understanding what ESG criteria (ESG or ASG) are.
- To explain the relationships between ESG criteria and the SDGs.
- Understanding the relationship between climate change and carbon footprint, resources and water footprint, clean renewable energy, the circular economy, and ecology with the environment.
- Understanding the relationship between open government, fair trade, responsible procurement, green public procurement, supplier transparency, stakeholder dialogue, public-private partnerships, and responsible investment with good governance.
- Understanding the relationship between human and labor rights, equal opportunities and pay, multiculturalism and acculturation, and corporate volunteering with social aspects.
The learning process will be conducted through questionnaires that will introduce the program's basic concepts. These questions will present, through best practices in each social, environmental, and economic sphere, the key issues addressed by organizations in managing actions related to ESG or ESG criteria.
