Qualifications
The students must successfully pass the continuous assessment tests and the final online exam, which will be taken within a maximum of 5 days after the training is completed. Students who pass will receive a Certificate issued by Bureau Veritas Certification, which accredits that they meet the training requirements for their certification as IRCA Auditors/Lead Auditors.

Recommended Background Knowledge
Prior to starting this course, learners are informed that they are expected to have the following background knowledge:
a) Management Systems
- The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
- The core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between senior management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, performance appraisal and continuous improvement
b) Quality Management
- The fundamental concepts and seven principles of quality management (see ISO 9000)
- The relationship between quality management and customer satisfaction
c) ISO 9001
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and commonly used quality management terms and definitions, which can be acquired by completing a CQI and IRCA certified ISO 9001:2026 QMS Fundamentals or equivalent training
Knowledge of report writing is desirable.
